NJStar Chinese Calendar is a shareware utility for Windows. This program features a Chinese calendar combined with a Western calendar. From the main application window, we can go back to the year 1599, and forward to the year 2100. This program also includes a Chinese horoscope, and a Western horoscope. There is also a lunar converter. This application lets us change the Calendar to start on Monday instead of Sunday. We can insert a JPG image to the Calendar, in case we want to print it (the whole year or just one month). From the next tabbed window (Alarm), we can set up any alarm (anniversary, appointment, birthday, memo, etc.) with/without sound (only one sound available), and schedule it to run at a given time and date. Optionally, we can add a subject and/or message to the alarm, send it by e-mail, perform a task when the alarm takes place such as start/shutdown any application, turn off our computer, etc. From the World Clock window, we can view and compare the time zones between two places, by selecting them from the list or clicking them on the interactive world map. This utility provides information about all the cities in one specific time zone, important cities around a given place, and Internet link for that place. We can try the fully-featured evaluation version of this product free of charge for a 30-day period. It runs under the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows Vista, XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, and 95.

- We can select our time zone
- Interactive world map
- Print calendar with our own image
- The annoying Alarm Sound put me off completely, and worst of all, it cannot be changed
